CCC is proud to announce the athletes nominated to the 2012 Canadian Youth Olympic Team. Alberta athletes, Maya Macisaac-Jones, of Athabasca and Matthew Saurette of Edmonton have been nominated to represent Canada at next winters Youth Olympic Games. The 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games are to be held in Innsbruck, Austria from January 13 to the 22nd.
“By creating the Youth Olympic Games (YOG), the IOC wants to inspire young people to play sport and adopt and live by the Olympic Values.“
